How long does my hair need to be?
The hair must be at least 1/4 of an inch long or 2 to 3 weeks worth of growth if you shaved.
Do I need to trim prior to coming?
It is recomended to trim so to minimized pulling and to prevent getting caught on an unwanted strip.
What can I do to minimize pain?
You can take a pain killer 30 minutes prior to coming or rub on some numbing cream 30 minutes prior tho the service as well. Also try to schedule the service a week before or after your cycle.
Do I need to prep the area before waxing?
It is recommended to exfoliate the area the day of or prior with a special mitt/glove (loofah) or body scrub.
What can I do to prevent future ingrown?
A day or two after waxing, start exfoliating regularly. This help remove dead cells that can prevent hairs from surfacing properly.
Is there products that I can use to prevent ingrown?
You can use body scrubs, loofah gloves, Ingrown Xit (sold here), or Tend Skin.
When should I make another appointment?
Waxing appointment should be made every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how fast the hair grow.
